Doo North Lodge is a hidden gem in a small town of Chatham, MI located right in the heart of waterfalls, trail rides, bear sanctuaries, light houses, ship wrecks, and painted rock. 17 of us from the age of 15 to 73 recently stayed at Doo North for an entire week and were absolutely spoiled by this Lodge. The down stairs family area is set up perfectly for large groups. We cooked every breakfast and dinner. The kitchen houses every item imaginable, the pool table entertained the teens, the furniture was comfortable and plenty of room for everyone to sit. The massive laundry room and additional fridge was a bonus. The adults had an additional bar area to house adult drinks and a spacious storage area when entering the lodge for all our shoes and coolers. Upstairs were 8 large bedrooms. Did I mention the decor was perfect but also fun and entertaining? Outside we had a massive fire pit and plenty of room to park many vehicles and trailers. If you are planning a family vacation or group vacation with friends, and you want a quiet place to retire in the evenings or start your day, I highly recommend the Doo North Lodge.
